I just saw episode four.
If this were a movie, this would be the opening act. I get the first three episodes were scene-setters to establish the situation at Westview, but you really could have just started with this one. It probably would have warded off all the criticisms I've seen about the slow-burn. I think we'll be back to the sit-com format next week, but the answers will come thick and fast in less time.
I appreciate we got to see more of the grim reality of coming back from the blip also.
And yeah, I marked out at 'Voodoo Child' and even said "let's bring out the man" with the world's worst Bischoff impersonation.

I'm of a different mind with this episode placement. I feel like this should've been the penultimate you know keep everyone on their toes until the rug is pulled.
That being said it is a good episode. It's interesting seeing the more grimer effects undoing The Blip after FFH just kinda shrugged it off. Am gonna keep an eye on Monica since we all know that somewhere in the future she's gonna become Pulsar by Captain Marvel 2. SWORD's interesting though it does make me wonder what exactly they do or been doing during the events of the movies.
Biggest development though? Jimmy Woo mastering card tricks. He certainly spent those 5 years well

Unless he was also snapped, and blip. I’m just surprised that Monica ended up being snap, and blip.

Watched episode 4 last night after work. Another good episode. Nice to see how sword is involved with this. And seeing Jimmy and Darcy was cool. Also learning more about Monica too and she was blip. And seeing more what is going on like we now know Wanda was cause. Now is there someone pulling her strings we will see. But can't wait for rest of the episodes.

Just finished episode five. Another strong showing, with the stakes being raised considerably. Wanda finally confronts S.W.O.R.D outside of the Westview bubble, Vision wants to know why there are no other children, the twins begin aging themselves up, Sparky the dog appears, now a real animal instead of the Syth from Tom King's mini-series, but 'chokes' itself to death on some leafs by the end, or so claims Agnes, and the X-Men version of Quicksilver shows up at the end, with a reference being made about the time tested 'recasting' trope in sitcoms.
And it appears a reference to Captain Marvel hits a sore spot with Monica

I knew the X-men universe is going to be canon in the MCU.

Just because Evan Peters showed up doesn't entirely mean X-Men is canon to MCU. I've got my own theories, but I'll keep them to myself for now. This episode really had some big reveals. Like Monica's clothing being mostly kevlar instead of regular fabric. (No big spoilers out of me for anyone that hasn't seen the episode yet. ) Kinda did see the Wanda takes Vision thing coming from a mile away though. Good to see Vis is starting to see the cracks in "reality" and starting to peice things together. Agnes continues to confuse me. Who the hell is she and why does she keep acting like she knows something? I know the prevailing theory is she's Agatha Harkness and working for Mephisto, but I doubt they'll go that route so early into this phase of the MCU. Probbaly save him for Multiverse of Madness or the Loki series.

This series leads directly into Multiverse of Madness, and here you are doubting the things they're clearly building to, like Peters and Mephisto, when it's obvious from space that's what's happening, have you even read the Marvel books much of this series is based on? Wanda's kids have their origins tied to Mephisto. Also, we're in phase four already, "too early" would be actually setting this directly after Age of Ultron and not Endgame.

It's been a few years, but I have read the books. I know what they're setting up, I've done enough writing to know foreshadowing when I see it. All I said was I doubt, not that they won't. It's speculation on my part. And yeah, I know this is going to tie directly into MoM and even possibly Spider-Man 3. I'm just saying I'll be surprised if they go that route ths early in phase 4.

Watched episode 5 this morning before I went to work. Again another good episode. Liked seeing more of Jimmy and Darcy and Monica learning more about the reality Wanda made and all. I like vision now learning something is not right. Also nice to see nilly and Tommy as kids. And with that showdown with Wanda and sword was great. And oh hell the end. I was hoping for Aaron mcu take. And was neat seeing Evans show up as sitcom brother. Now the question is is he fox take of her brother some how in the mcu and in her fake reality. Is he just some poor citizen warped into by Wanda or if there is someone pulling her strings to be her brother.

It has to be Pietro from the X-men universe like whatever Wanda did began to affect other universes plus the scene is after the tv show credits.

That is possible but then the question is how did he get from xmen universe to mcu universe and then to westview. But since we already know folks inside the bubble are citizens of westview minus Monica and the hazmat agent where alter. There is the possibility Evans is just a citizen of westview that Wanda alters to be her brother. Or again if there is someone pulling her strings and makes him her brother. And marvel is just being meta with using evans.

Will have to wait till Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness, and Spider-Man 3 to answer that.
