Of course he'll survive. Oliver made the deal to die instead of Barry and Kara, even if he's being a twat and not telling them he did. It's basically common knowledge at this point, even if it didn't happen that way in the Crisis comics back in the 80s. Especially considering there's a whole second half to Flash's 6th season after Crisis.

I know. But I feel there are a lot of people who hope that Barry dies. Kind of like how so many people believe Barry & Caitlin should have been a couple despite all of the evidence that proved it'll never happen.

Personally, I think Barry and Caitlin had more chemistry in the first episode then Barry and Iris did in the entire first season, but that isn't the point here.
The point is people are going to believe what tehy want because "That's how it was in the comics! If it's not that way on the show, it's a failure!" and they're entitled to those opinions, however wrong they may be.

Another good episode tonight. I enjoyed seeing Jay again and cool to see on earth 3 his Joan is Barry mom counterpart. I also liked getting to see Barry learn more about the crisis and anti matter problems. I also liked Joe pep talk to Barry about being a symbol and never give up. Iris stuff with Ralph was good too with trying to help Cecil out with the meta. Overall good episode and nice lead into upcoming crisis.

Definitely a great episode! Don't forget about Frost basically learning what it means to be human! And we saw Bloodwork use his powers. I wonder how they'll come up with his name on the show. I tried looking up Ultraviolet on the DC Wikia site to no avail. Her character is named after the adopted aunt of Allegra's comic book counterpart who's the daughter of the supervillain Wavelength.
One of the best parts was at the end when we saw that Cecile hooked Allegra up with an internship at Iris' paper. That was so cool. Something tells me she'll learn Barry is The Flash.
I also wonder how the Anti-Monitor will look. He's clearly the main villain of the Crisis since he was in the original comics where Barry died, Wally became the Flash, and then Barry revived.
