You got to remember for the TV show event. They wasn't able to get all actors they wanted or some didn't have time to do it. So that is likely reasons there.
Now for Ezra he really needs to get help and Def should be in jail and or rehab/mental health checked. Every day something new and more bad comes out. And this doesn't make wb look good at all. More so after last week of wbd dropping variety of projects. At this rate they might as well drop this film too. Even though they sunk 200 million 6 years and 4 directors on this. And just go totally clean slate.

hopefully he decides to get help and potentially salvage himself in hollywood and all. But it would be a major shock if they did shelf the film too as they spent well over 200mill over 6 years and 4 directors to get the film off the ground. But if things keep going south with ezra. They might as well just eat the costs and do a complete new film and cast all new actor there. But this is just a major mess.

Oh I agree there but he should also get the mental health he needs too while serving what ever time he would get if he went to court.

Upon seeing the trailer, I've come away with this overwhelming gut instinct this won't be a massive hit.
Miller's obvious PR image aside, it has every element that online fandom claims to love and want more of, but often never manifest in positive box office numbers from them.
A Man of Steel redux as the crux of your action/adventure element? Warner almost kind of vindicate Snyder's ideas by doing this because it shows even when you're trying to move away from his vision, you...evidently can't? He lives in their heads rent free still.
I feel like the CW deserves a big hand for already normalising and preparing the casual fan for a Flashpoint and Elseworlds angle. I haven't seen one online reaction so far from those sorts of fans that isn't clued in on how these normally go.
As for Keaton, Zod, Affleck etc...I don't know. I believe all of this would have worked better if they had kept it secret, which is impossible, but look at the lengths Sony and Marvel went to in No Way Home with the worst kept secret in cinema back in 2021. At best THAT secret was spilled on salt shaker sources like reddit and tweets from 'insiders' that you could take or leave, it's another thing entirely to make all of this public now.
It shows while they have faith in the film's quality to have Gunn champion it, they have no faith in all the elements that would make seeing it for the first time unspoiled a treat.

Ya erza bad pr. The mess of the dceu and this film taking six years and 4 directors has pretty much killed it. It likely be a hit but I doubt it be doing avengers or Spidey money. Plus with the dceu pretty much over now with Gunn. This film is pretty much synder verse last hurrah with a hey Keaton here to to get the older fans.
