Ya like I said too the other day I never heard of this wevsite. And would believe it more if other known news sites where reporting it too. I rather wait for an official word from hasbro. Now sure they may want to do a cartoon. As cartoons are more cost friendly. But also like I said I really hope live action show isn't ended to just do a cartoon and that it for the franchise going forward. I hope we could see both.

It would be really weird for Hasbro to cancel the live action series especially after doing such a great job with Beast Morphers with all the past series references, RPM sequel and doctor K stuff, nice human villains, okay team up, innovative clip show for villains.all this has only gotten our hope higher for Dino fury and beyond.besides I'd love to see them do the Kyuuranger adaptation which will probably co-incide with 30th anniversary if done.

They're not going to end it just after buying it. That would be suicide for Hasbro to do. You don't spend at least $522 million just to shut something down. As for going the animated route and not doing live action? I doubt it. No sources that are credible support this idea. Hasbro is getting Paramount to do a live action reboot movie, the Rangers going back in time to 1993 and encountering the original Rangers (with all acors reprising their roles - except Thuy of course, maybe Karan will replace her) via de-aging technology. wegotthiscovered.com/movies/entire-original-power-rangers-team-return-reboot/ Is this a credible source?

green we got this covered is not a credible site, they take rumors and news from usally bs places. Yes they might post some stories that come from true sources ie sourced from a credible site like vulture/THR/variety/deadline for example. But wegotthiscovered themselfs are not a trusty site. Them and sites like cosmicbooknews.com and comicbookmovie.com(years ago that is) are not sites you should take for word as fact for any tv/movie news they have. All we really know far for the new film is there is a time travel aspect to the film, the team may have a female red ranger/lead character and yes they are traveling from there time to the 90s. And then illuminerdi saying it may tie into tv franchise and zordon/zedd may be in the film. But beyond that we dont know for sure whats what yet.
But ya i am also in the boot that i cant see them spend all the money they did for the franchise to drop it after 2 series and just do a live action movie that may or may not bomb and just make franchise a cartoon deal. More so if they movie happens in 2 years it will be franchise 30th anniversary. Why end doing live action series before that. When if the movie is going to tie to the franchise you can lead into it for what ever is the 30th anni series ties into what will happen in the movie and there you go. Unless of course the movie is trying to be its own separate universe and all. As we already have a power rangers multiverse. With 95 movie its own universe, mm-jf/samurai/megaforce/ninja steel/beast morphers as prime universe, rpm universe, dino charge universe, and 2017 movie universe.

For once can we please pick any other series rather than MMPR to make a movie on, just because they were the first doesn't mean everything should be about them, I would rather see a movie on light speed rescue team (because they haven't fought as a team for long)or Lost Galaxy (to see how Mirinoi has developed in last 2 decades) besides those two series had some of the bravest(Leo,Mike,Kendrix,Carter and Ryan) and most Badass characters of all things and since they weren't teens(except for Kelsey maybe) there stories can take more mature and probably darker tone.

I agree with you 100 %. Excxept for the darker tone thing - that would work on with an RPM-based movie, since that season was dark in tone. Or perhaps a Time Force movie could have a darker tone to it since it'd involve time travel in some way (Jen, Trip, Lucas and Katie still have to use the Timeship to get to our time unless Time Force built in safe time travelling capabilities in their portal devices from Dimensions in Danger). I'd be all up for a Lightspeed Rescue or a Lost Galaxy movie as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they end the live action to make movies (and the occasional animated series). Isn’t that what they do with Transformers? I don’t even think Transformers currently has a TV show on the air.

Netflix has Transformers: War for Cybertron - Seige Trilogy (going by the toy line of the same name).

So I guess they could make an animated series for Netflix and concentrate mainly on the films.

It would be the best choice to concetrate on the films since the TV series has gone too generic already and the newer Sentai seasons end up having too mauch stuff in them, as well as too much Japanese-based elements. Even the team-ups are getting too basic. Going animated for the TV series and doing the movies can only help the franchise, although I would like PR to continue for years to come as the live-action TV series.
