Finally got around to catching up with the episodes. The writing has been pretty good. Although we don't see much of Mick, he's doing a good job as mentor. Nothing too deep but he does bring up important points to the Rangers that help them learn. The lessons aren't feeling forced or shoved in.
I still heard the Dino Charge theme and that SamuraixDC remix though. On the bright side, the BGM has improved. I thought I heard a new Zeo-like riff of GGPR in episode 17. However, having GGPR (Whatever reiteration) in a constant repeating loop during fights does get tiresome.

The writing seems to be all over the place. I don't blame the actors but I really do get curious about how Chip's, Becca's and Alwyn's thought process. What do they consider when writing the jokes? As scattered as D(S)C was, the writing quality was better than Ninja Steel and it was the best writing of the Neo-Saban era so far. Ninja Steel doesn't feel forced as Megaforce but it's close at times.

My guess is that if Dino (Super) Charge indeed is in its own dimension, Ninja Steel takes place in the dimension where the dinos are extinct

I'm actually glad whoever is supposed to cameo hasn't been hyping SNS up. It looks like Saban learned from their mistake 3-4 years ago. That or Chip himself reflected on it and like with DC, started planning on how to avoid a SM 2.0. Since JDF, Faunt and Ciara are rumored to return, I wonder if they shared their experience with how the SM anniversary failed.

As long as it makes money for the show, J imagine Bandai will pitch anyhing.
