"Gosei isn't a character. The Morphing Master is" Oh, the hypocrisy.... Look, the Green Morphing Master is just a plot device. It's less of a character than Gosei. And believe me, I'm not fan of Gosei. But he wasn't an all-mighty power with cool toys. See, that's provably false though. Where were Gosei's motives ever explained? Where was the episode going into his backstory? Where was the conflict with him as a character? When were his personal feelings shown? All of these things were given to the Green Morphin Master. That's the stuff that makes a character with depth. Gosei had no depth at all. Have you seen the episode? Because it's starting to seem like you didn't actually watch it and are just assuming it's the worst thing imaginable, and some of your claims are objectively false. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I assumed we (As in you and I, not speaking for certain others) were having a semi-respectful disagreement about the show. At least I was trying to. But the condescending tone you're taking is making me question that.

This is the exact type of undeserved overreaction I'm talking about. You're not even complaining about something that actually happened. It's obvious you don't have a solid case to explain why this mess of idiotic writing is a good thing. According to you, I should sit down and shut up because it was "explained". Seems a lot of people have forgotten a long time ago that being a fan of a beloved IP doesn't mean you MUST automatically and blindly accept EVERY new thing that comes that said IP, cause at that point you aren't a true fan, you're a mindless consumer or a corporate shill. No, I've explained time and time again my standpoint and I've said time and time again that it's fine if you don't like it. However, this is a discussion board, and sometimes people will disagree with you, especially if you're making false claims. But, as usual, you choose to ignore what people actually are saying, misrepresenting their argument in a poor attempt to make yourself look better because you're unable to properly defend your point as well as throwing out repetitive and petty insults that prove once again that you aren't worth discussing anything with. And I fully expect you'll respond to this with more of that, because you're incapable of bringing something new or having a rational discussion.

No self respecting person who loves this franchise should accept this crap. This is the exact type of undeserved overreaction I'm talking about. You're not even complaining about something that actually happened. Remember when everybody hated when Gosei gave the Megaforce Rangers more zords, without deserving it? Well, this is the same situation. I have to disagree. Gosei wasn't really a character, he just gave characters toys for no reason. The Green Morphin Master isn't handing out toys, she's just helping at random points in time, and there's an actual plot behind it. There wasn't any plot behind Gosei's stuff, he was just giving it. He wasn't a character with motive, he was a toy dispenser. There's an actual story going on behind the Morphin Master's actions. I would like to once again say, it's fine to not like it. But I personally think the complaints are a little overblown (a lot overblown in the cases of some people) or have incorrect comparisons. But, opinions and all that.

"Most of the fans" doing something doesn't necessarily make it good. If people are getting upset over something that is just an assumption at the moment, that's more on them rather than the show.

I agree about not everything needing to be connected, but I think it's jumping to a massive conclusion to say everything is explained by the Green Morphin Master. We only have a few things confirmed, the rest of the stuff like the Quasar Sabers is just another assumption, aka a headcanon. What you believed happened.
Unless they actually come out and say a ton more stuff that the Green Morphin Master did like that and others, then it's the fans creating that problem by assuming that she's responsible for everything, not the show itself. If they actually do tie everything back to one character, yes, I agree that's not a good thing to do. But tying a couple events back to one character shouldn't be such a catastrophe as a viewer. Getting worked up over a hypothetical isn't good for anyone.

You keep saying "deserves" an explanation, but that doesn't really make sense. You can make that case for any plot hole. With that logic they can just say whatever they want with no explanation. Which is most of what Megaforce was, actually. You also keep saying "half explanations", but that's a headcanon. You can dismiss anything with headcanon. And having a headcanon is fine, but that excuse you come up with isn't gonna be enough for everyone. You have theories for why these things happen the way they did, but that's not an official answer. It's not something the show addressed. It's just your assumption, which again, is fine. But it's still just something you use, not something confirmed in-show. Some people want an actual reason for things to happen, it's the show's job to fill in the blanks. And that's what they're trying to do here. "It's a mistake from the Sentai footage", yes. Yes it is. That's not an in-show explanation though. It's something the creates a plot hole within the show. Nobody here isn't chill. Someone disagreeing with you doesn't mean they're angry.

Why it was Legendary Battle necessary to explain? Why it wasn't Tommy and other Rangers being just being in contact? It's not way easier to explain that cluterf!"k uber-powerful being invoking every single Ranger? It's just.....stupid, numb and contrived. It's horrible, dude. Because there were rangers from another dimension. Because there were rangers from the future who nobody knew yet. Because there were somehow Zeo, Turbo, and In Space Rangers at the same time. Because there were several different Tommy suits present within the battle. Because you could very clearly see RyuRanger fighting alongside Casey despite nobody knowing who that was. There was a lot about the Legendary Battle that didn't make sense. It's really not that bad of a thing to try and explain it. I doubt those can all be explained by Tommy picking up the phone and making some calls. You not minding the plot holes doesn't mean they aren't plot holes. Legendary Battle, and Megaforce in general, was full of plot holes. You may not like that they now have an explanation, but that doesn't make the idea of trying to explain them stupid. And I really fail to see how it's "more stupid" this way.

Saying "It makes it worse" is a massive stretch. We have a powerful being working in the shadows to explain some of the things that went the way they did. That's not so unbelievable for Power Rangers. There's solid setup and execution, it ties back to something from MMPR. "But why didn't she solve every problem ever?!" can probably be explained by her only having so much power alone. There still is evil strong enough to defeat a Morphin Master, apparently there were more of them in the past. They probably have some limits. It's not without flaws, you don't have to like it, but it damn sure isn't worse. We have a reason for things that elsewhere would've went unexplained. One that actually holds some weight. You're describing an example of deus ex machina. Why is it that "a wizard did it" is a great explanation to every mystery in Power Rangers? It just cheapens it. Because there's an actual character behind it. Someone who matters. Someone who has a motive and reason for doing what they do, not a faceless object that just pops up whenever something needs to be done. There is no cheapening things like Jason appearing out of nowhere in Grid Connection. There's no cheapening the rangers randomly teleporting away after Legendary Battle. These were just nonsense things that happened just because, now we have some kind of reason. That's not a bad thing. That doesn't retcon anything. Bringing all the rangers into the same place doesn't mean they didn't want to help. Some were even from other dimensions. Bringing them all together isn't a retcon. And not everything was given an explanation, just weird plot holes the last few years that people have been asking questions about. Again, you don't have to like it, but "worse" is a stretch. At least we have a reason. Not a perfect one, but it's a reason.

You... clearly haven't been paying attention to what merch they're actually releasing if you think less toys for them would mean anything at the current state.
For Beast Morphers, they didn't release several weapons, including some they put in the show. For Dino Fury, none of the auxiliary zords besides the Ptera Freeze zord are getting released. From the looks of it, none of the zord-themed armors are getting released either. A lot of the toys clearly aren't a priority.

First, if they don't remove mecha, come on, that's gonna be almost like Megaforce: "They gain a power every episode without explanation!". They have 12 mechas, 3 auxiliaries and two space ships. It's like, they gonna presenting every single episode a main form or somethign? Context is important. They don't have to gain the new zords every episode. Maybe they work for an SPD-like organization that has a fleet of zords ready for the rangers to use, they don't gain them, they already have them. Then the rest of them are introduced like regular. Megaforce had bad writing. You can make a lot of things work with good writing. That was twenty years ago... many things are different behind the scenes now. Again, look at Dino Fury already. So much original footage. Of course there's a limit, but we've seen what they're capable of already. We're not blindly guessing here. They can absolutely get away with just using some of the Kyuranger suits if they wanted to. Which again, it's purely hypothetical. I don't understand what's so upsetting about pure speculation. New ideas come through over time, new possibilities open up. Simon did say his reason that he wouldn't pick Kyuranger was having 12 rangers and it would be hard to give them each meaningful stories in the amount of time they had. What if, because the Dino Fury team is going and they already had stories, they can now use time to focus on the other half of the team so they won't have that problem anymore? We're going in dark here, there's a lot of possibilities. And again, context is important. Super Megaforce relied too much on Sentai footage and terrible writing. That's why it turned out so bad. With a solid team behind the camera, they could absolutely have made that work too.

Firstly, no, they wouldn't have to remove any mecha. Just call them auxiliary zords. Villains? Also no. It would only be taking out some rangers.
Secondly, that's missing the point entirely. A lot of the fight scenes are original footage anyway. Not all, but a lot. They have 48 episodes of Kyuranger to work with, and let's say Cosmic Fury is just 22 episodes. If they really wanted to, they could absolutely find usable footage featuring just the rangers they want to use and fill in the rest with original footage. If we're gonna about "they'd never miss a chance to sell toys!", let's talk about the cannon they straight up didn't adapt from Go-Busters and just refilmed all the footage it was shown in. Or the fact that there's a bunch of zords from Dino Fury that they aren't releasing. They clearly have their own way of doing things.
Thirdly, never did I say they should remove any of the Kyurangers. Just that they use a lot of the original footage and really, anything is possible.
And fourthly, saying "This could be another Super Megaforce!" is jumping the gun way too early because literally all we have is a title and cast. We don't know if they're using Kyuranger. It could be Kiramager. It could be original suits. Maybe they're taking some sentai suits and making their own show entirely with them. We don't know yet. People need to relax, at least let's see something before we start considering the worst.

Power Rangers these days is mostly original footage, though. Pink not being there much in the Sentai footage doesn't matter.
Dark Buster appeared in like one episode of Go-Busters and they made him a main villain for the entire season of Beast Morphers. How often something happens in Sentai footage doesn't matter nearly as much as people think it does.

There was an interview with Jordon and Kai that implies there will be new suits. We've seen evidence that there's apparently an entirely new morph sequence, which wouldn't make sense for the exact same suits. And it also makes no sense to change the name of the team for the exact same suits and exact same gear. The most logical assumption is that we'll get some kind of difference. So, it's just the main cast members of Dino Fury being given six of the Kyuuranger suits. Nope. We don't know what the suits will be, just that it's likely we won't have the exact same suits as the last two seasons. The very few signs we have point to original suits. We may be in a Dino Force Brave situation, same suits but altered.
