A very good season finale. I like the mayor learning the rest of the team id. There plan to save Devon was good too. Seeing the ultrazord was wicked too. I like the fight in the cyber dimension. It was nice to see a good father son moment too with Devon and and dad.
Devon fight with blaze in his zord was good too. I like the drama moments in the team escape. And oh no the mayor is infected. I wonder if it evox and he will take control of him in next season. It was nice to see blaze awake. Curious to see what will happen to human blaze and roxy next season. The ceremony was pretty nice touch at the end.

That was a Beastastic finale. While I know it is a clipshow, but I am looking forward to seeing the Christmas special and looking forward to seeing season 2 of Beast Morphers next year.

The final episode of season 1 was good. Evox got a new body, Blaze get a new zord. We get a new Ultrazord, And the rangers defeated the bad guys for now. I can't wait to see what would happen next.

That was...okay.
I was loving the first half, but then the pacing suddenly became a hot mess. I hate it when they morph, go through the full morph sequence and then get knocked back out of their suits ten seconds later. It’s so lame. And I wish they had found some way for Roxy to be involved now that she woke up.
The rangers didn’t fight Evox, not really. All season it’s like they’ve been afraid of devoting screen time to ground level battles - which are literally the only reason to watch Power Rangers in the first place. It’s so confusing. There weren’t even any good unmorphed fights, because Nate hacking got all the screentime.
I was loving the Ultrazord, and was looking forward to seeing it fight Evox, but once again, for some reason they want to avoid dramatic battles this season. Instead...for the 37 millionth time...the red zord fought solo. I was screaming “WHYYYYYYY” at the tv. Blaze’s zord was cool AF tho.
Evox in general was dealt with way too quickly & easily. At least they actually fought Galvanax. And I wish there was a bit more of a cliffhanger. The mayor being infected or whatever is interesting, but still.
As a whole I rate this season a C+.

ya that was a little silly morph to instantly get unmorphed they should have stayed morph. Also any one find seeing steel head on ranger suit with his helmet off a little odd looking.

That’s cuz the Silver Ranger is smaller and skinnier than Steel is unmorphed. His head is proportionate to his normal “beefier” body but looks too large on top of the ranger suit.
I personally think Steel looks way more badass before he morphs.

I liked episode 19 better, but I think this one was good, too. I liked the moments between Devon and his dad, the little moments with Ravi and his mom, the intensity of the rangers in the villain's dimension.
I would've liked more fight scenes, (and like said above, Devon having a whole morph sequence only to get demorphed seconds later was dumb) especially one with Evox, but I think this works good as a midseason finale, which is basically is. And besides, no way this is the last we see of Evox. There's probably gonna be another chance for a big fight with him. Not a perfect finale, but I liked it. I'm excited for next season after the couple plots they left open here.
That's pretty much how I could sum up Beast Morphers season 1 as a whole. Not perfect, it has it's problems, but a MAJOR step up from the past few years and it was pretty fun most of the time. It's probably not a Top 10 season, but I absolutely wouldn't call it a season I dislike.

Ya I am sure we will have some more fights with evox in next season. But Ya overall was a good season. Fun and engaging characters a solid story and acting. The real test in future series after bm will be if hasbro brings in non Saban folks and what style and direction franchise takes then.

See, I feel like I want to say I like Beast Morphers better, but in my heart I can’t. It does certain things a lot better than Ninja Steel, for one the characters are much better, and I only think one of them is a bad actor, which is an improvement.
But that said the actual Power Ranger parts I find extremely lacklustre. The robotrons are functionally the exact same as tronics. It felt like the whole season they only ever fought foot soldiers. Only 1 zord was used all year. In literally every past season new megazord combos getting introduced periodically would get you all hyped, and continuing to use them would show how powerful the villains were getting, build a sense of stakes. Even Evox in the finale was less effective than the average monster of the week.
In a way I have the exact opposite problem with this season than I did Ninja Steel (& Samurai & Megaforce). Those seasons had fun, flashy fight scenes and at least a little sense of urgency and danger, but it was hard to care cuz the characters were so unlikable & uninteresting. This year I like the characters but am utterly disappointed in how little they’re being used to do all things Ranger-y. I feel like they’re not even meeting 10% of their potential.
I’ll be honest I’m not optimistic about the team-up next season, given the awful track record so far for fight scenes and character focus. 😬

I think overall the ranger stuff is better here than in Ninja Steel because the Original and Sentai footage blends better together, (finally no more of those dull colored suits) they know when to shut up during the fight scenes, and no more painfully long megazord finishers. That might not seem like a lot, but it really makes a difference when watching. For me, at least.
Now, I do see where you're coming from with the MOTWs feeling more like foot soldiers. With the designs of these monsters, they could easily give them all some unique powers, but they all kind of do the same thing. That is one thing that I think Ninja Steel probably did better. Even though the show itself was boring, the monsters did have unique powers. Outside of a few exceptions, the Robotron gimmick is just "collect Morph-X and get destroyed" I don't see it as a huge problem, but I can see why it might bother other people more. It'd be great to see the monsters get less generic.
Also yeah, the Gorilla and Rabbit zords need used more. Hopefully Season 2 can deliver on that more.

Well, that was very anti-climatic.

Well, that was very anti-climatic. Agree. The Rangers didn't even get to fight Evox at ground level. Also, his material form looks less menacing than his digital one. Though to be fair, it would be kinda hard to implement a flat cobra head in a humanoid costume's head. I like that this time the Ultrazord isn't a deus ex machina, though, and it's destroyed by Evox instantly,
