Both episodes Yellow and Pink get in a fight (we don’t know the context in Zyu2 outside of Power Rangers but the Japanese fight footage infers some sort of conflict between Tigerranger and Pteraranger)
One of the girls is captured (Pink in Zyu2, Yellow in Megaranger)
Both episodes had a plant theme monster (Nejipink’s true form in Megaranger’s case).
Not sure if anyone working on Zyu2 was involved with Megaranger but it would make sense if someone at Zyu2 saw the footage they filmed for Saban Entertainment and decided to recycle the concept for an actual episode in Megaranger
