Is it cause of writer or the evil batman in it. It's because of The Batman Who Laugh. I literally do not care nor want to see how this Judge Death wannabe will Stu his way around Superman while simultaneously killing thousands of people & never shutting up on how messed up he is. Put some Nth Metal bullets in this asshole & be done with it.

Plus this whole Secret Six business is just an excuse for more characters to act like douchebags across the titles while Superman and Batman taint friendships by distrusting people and "spying" on them. Between this and who accepts Lex's offer I can't say I'm going to stick with DC long term outside of the books that are hopefully unaffected by it.

Ah in figure in figure it was that. Even though I not reading dc. I do agree evil batman. Had stay far to long in the current main dcu timeline. Like how I felt the younger version of xmen stayed way to long over at marvel.

Year of the Villain#1
Lex Luthor attacks the White House and returns to Lexcorp to talk to Brainiac, Brainaic tells Lex he is now forever classed as a villain in the eyes of the world, but Lex says it will soon be a matter of time before every city falls in line. Captain Atom arrives at the building to arrest Lex but Lex blows Lexcorp up.
Batgirl in the meantime is given an offer by Leviathan to change the world, and Leviathan brings up all of the instances she has joined a cause and sacrificed everything. Her decision whether or not to accept the deal is not shown. Meanwhile, Jason Todd asks Bruce if he can help him try to prove that Leviathan is not who he thinks he is...Jason Todd
The third story sees the Leauge dealing with something in space before having a talk about Perpetua and Lex's involvement. We then drop in on Perpetua and discover Lex is being regrown in her chambers
Justice League#23
The Lois of the Sixth Dimension reveals she is from an earlier phase of the World Forger's experiments, and has had to watch whole worlds fall due to a failed Justice formation. Her son Jon has died millions of times and it has traumatised her, she blames Clark's unwillingness to ever change who he is for the tragedies and tells the League they can either finally see the light or stay with the villains. Manhunter and Kendra's "son" arrives and uses his powers to shatter the prison. During the break-out, the League are rescued by a version of the Legion of Doom...and Darksied.
Superman escapes his prison planet, taking the time to remember a conversation with young Jon in the processs
Meanwhile, Batman is told by the World Forger that Mxy is preparing to unravel reality in their dimension, and that he must act quickly to replace the missing time from the multiverse before the council of judges uncovers his plan...he instructs Bruce to make a decision and turn away the three suns in the dark dimension that is replenishing Superman before he can escape. Batman seemingly agrees and moves the suns using a control console, leaving Suprman stranded again in the pitch blackness of space

Young Justice#5
We finally know why Tim was doing in Metropolis. Zatana came to him a few days prior and restored his pre-flashpoint memories, so TIm decides to head over to Metropolis to find Superman and tell him Conner is out there....and yes, Tim and Stephanie are very much still together and in love. Stephanie tells Tim she needs to see her dad again and they promise to meet up in a few days once their seperate businesses are concluded.
And Bendis managed to sneek in a Doc Samson reference
Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider
Gwen is being chewed out by MJ in rehearsals for not putting much energy into performing for the band, Gwen goes on patrol and aggresively beats up criminals to let off steam. Miles Warren later approaches one of the beaten thugs and takes one of Gwen's leftover spiders off of him. The crooks were working for Man-Wolf. Gwen returns to help the band put on their next concert, but Gwen detects that someone has planted explosives. She switches to her costume and tries to warn people but it's too late...the explosives go off!
I think UK fans will find that incident very near the knuckle considering the tragic Ariana Grande Manchester Concert bombing in 2017

Good to see the continuing theme of the Justice League being completely useless & the "real stars" of the book has to bail them out. The Terminus Agenda ended on a fart but that's to be expected for this book now as Emiko killed Slade though on a positive note Priest actually gave a shit about Atomic Skull's development & pretty much acknowledged Damian ruined his redemption. I'm back on Batman after the nonsense that was Knightmares & I gotta admit Batman ascending from Arkham similar to Bane desending back in "I am Bane" was a pretty cool narrative. Young Justice continues to be the better Teen Titans book though there seems to be a hiccup in Continuity regarding Cluemaster since....well he died back in Eternal.
Over at Marvel War of the Realms rages on as the main book sees Malekith & Friends take over continents for their own & the tie-ins continue to see the heroes try there best against the armies. We even get a nice reunion between Kamala & Scott in Champions. Mediocre as Waid's run was it's nice to see Scott development from his time with them acknowledged just wish The X-books would.

Perhaps it's the return of the Ultimate universe?

I doubt it. The Ultimate Universe is pretty much nothing but a faded memory at this point.
Got back from LCS for FCBD checked the Spider-man one out I find the Venom story intriguing need to see where exactly it'll go later this year. The Spider-men one was pretty fun. Really want to see more of Peter & Miles teaming up like this. Got DC's Year of the Villains as well since it was given to me & it's about as unappealing as I thought it would be More Lex & friends wanking, More stupid Batman Who Laugh's trash, Leviathan just has me laughing that anyone would think Streetwise-smartass-daddyissues#2 Jason Todd is somehow behind it & that Damian got out of his "ow-the-edge" mindset to prove him innocent. Also Stupid space-goddess is growing a Martian Lex hybrid. Why? I dunno. & Rose has apparently taken up the mantle of Deathstroke to bad the story getting us here was complete shit.
