Umm green ya we still have no clue. As making a film be it a sequel or another new take. Takes time look at most big tent pole films. From when it's announced, to script, crew, cast, filming and then release takes around a 2 year period. Plus with hasbro just taking over franchise. We yet to see what they have plan yet.
And for them on what benefits they get from frachise. Then it also counts would they have to work with LG on a release or they take over totally. Counting on what ever deal LG had with Saban and all that.
Also realistically if we get a sequel or just a brand new film. It likely wouldn't be coming out 2021/2022 logically. With stuff I mentioned above.

If we heard about it, you wouldn't have to ask. Everybody would be talking about it.

Hasbro could pick up where the last movie ended and bring in Tommy.

They could. But honestly with the 2017 fill not performing well donestically. On top most of the cast has moved on to other projects. Plus it been run by another movie studio. With has brought with patamount. I bet we will see a totally new and different movie. Be it still a mm theme or they just go all original or use another season concept. Got to look at this in studio front. They likely have to recast, and why would has brought want to try to fix another studio failure. Vs doing their own thing.

It has been confirmed this year that Hasbro is scrapping the PR movie sequel and starting from scratch to launch a new movie, TV, comics, etc shared universe. What it will look for the series after Dino Fury is anyone's guess because the partnership with Toei is gone. Will they do their own thing? Perhaps. Maybe start it all in the movie and launch from there?
