If it’s the 30th season should it be somewhat a sequel to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers even if these Rangers are related to past Rangers?

That be a neat angle but I don't think we would need it be that.

Is it because of Megaforce having Gosei be Zordon’s student?

No its not that. Just cause it dinosaur and could possibly air on a anniversary. We don't need it be mm 2 all over again. Plus logistically having all or half of new rangers be mm kids be a issue with getting actors to return and all. Plus I rather have series be it's own story. And not have to harp on mm. All we need is some Anni story to bring a few characters in for a team up.

Well would it be a exception with JJ being in this team as the Red Ranger?

Is it because of Megaforce having Gosei be Zordon’s student? Yeah, about that. That was a really bad, but lazily-executed easter egg nod to the original first season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers all the way to Power Rangers in Space. Because, if I know Zordon and from what we've learned about him from his endless number of back-up plans, to having knowledge of new ranger technology, to having new zords up and running (the thunder zords, Tor, the White Tiger zord, the Zeo zords and the Super Zeo zords, etc.) Not to mention his multiple contacts with Delphine and the rangers of Aquitar, Dimitria, Ninjor, and Larigot. Him mentoring Gosei as his apprentice would probably not be on the top priority of his list of things to do before he dies. I mean, if Megaforce and Super Megaforce was better handled and had better writing and real effort and heart and mutual respect being put into celebrating the franchise's 20th anniversary, Gosei would have just acted as the command center's main A.I. similar to D.E.C.A. from Power Rangers in Space and the rangers could have just easily figured everything out on their own without a mentor-character. Hell, Tensou is just completely useless, so I say get rid of him and just have Noah and Gia be the main tech crew and hace them construct new weapons and zords for the rangers. Then you could have at least one of the 13 veteran rangers, namely Tommy coming in and acting a special-guest mentor-character in a few episodes and have them or him just educating the Megaforce team about what it really means to be a Power Rangers besides having all the fancy new toys and cool powers. Then we could've gotten a proper build-up to the "legendary battle" where the Megaforce rangers actually do proved themselves worthy to fight alongside with the past ranger team from 1993-2012 after having 40 plus episodes of being challenged by their peers and from having multiple story-arcs that would establish some real character growths and depths to coherent story-telling as established in seasons like Mystic Force, SPD, Wild Force, Time Force and in Space. Even Operation Overdrive have better character-development than Megaforce and Super Megaforce. And it's mostly, Dax, Mack and Norg who got all the development. And that really says a lot about terrible of an anniversary series, Megaforce and Super Megaforce is. I mean Megaforce's regular season could be mediocre on its' own, but the fact that it's still connected to its' second season really show how much Saban Brands and Jonathan Tzachor doesn't give a damn about this franchise back in 2013 and 2014.

Funny story. I thought of that only Troy, Noah, Jake, and Emma lost there powers except Gia, and those four were replace with 4 new Rangers.

As for Tensou I agree they should've added a new Alpha that is similar to the Alpha we knew & love.

well we can all blame jt for all the stupid dumb calls he made with samurai and megaforce with the mess of things they did. From lazy copy paste stories with no chnage to make it different and more american. To the lazy lets use non adapted sentai powers with no real story and the lack of used series being used more and other teams barely used at all.

Studios might do us all a favor by giving these shows better stories to tell,,,in adaptation. Believe me, Samurai/Super Samurai and Megaforce/Super Megaforce REEEAALLY needed to rebooted as comic book adaptations.

While I still think of Ryuusouger as a adaptation tribute I saw a flaw that this sentai lacks yellow so most likely it would be impossible to have 6 Rangers related to the original six rangers without a ranger related to Trini.

Mega Force was a mess. They should have pushed SMF down a year and expanded Part 1 to 2 years and concentrated on that half. They could have saved Ultra Mode for Series II of Mega Force. Samurai , Dino Charge and Ninja Steel each took 2 series with a combined 40 to tell the story. They needed to do that with Mega Force.
