Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel "Prepare to Fail" Discussion

-The epic theme song can't even distract me from the horrible jokes that are coming.
-When did they start remembering that Levi's famous?
-Okay, their reaction to Tynamon was kinda funny.
-Sarah's talking like she doesn't know she's the only genius on the team. 
-Oh hey, it's Kinji's sword.
-Superstar Blade!
-Oh hey, the hoverboard.
-Cosmo's spinning face is kinda cool.
-Brax has a smart plan. Which is just the Ninninger plan, but it's still good.

-Not looking forward to this...
-Here comes the backfiring.

-EVEN THE TEACHER KNOWS THEY USED THIS PLOT BEFORE
-Making Victor and Monty suffer for farting? Slightly better but not enough to redeem this....

-The moral wraps up into the fight! What a twist!
-"Does Ms Finch have a way to defeat Brax?" I don't know why, but I really liked that line.

-So Sarah builds Kinji's sword? Interested to see how they explain only him using it.
-Did he just say "Grind your bones into dust"? Because if so... that's pretty dark.

-KICKASS GGPR REMIX! Makes the morphing sequence even better.
-Damn it, skipped the roll call AGAIN!
-The attack names get old, but at least they aren't just saying random stuff during the fights just to be talking.
-Now would've been a great time for original Lion Fire Pink footage.

-I really wish they'd use that blaster outside of the cockpit. It's awesome.
-Okay, this is all Ninninger footage, but using all the aux. zords for the attack was awesome.
-I feel like the moral would've stuck more if she just had to learn from her mistakes, but it was a nice ending.

Why am I feeling so disappointed with this episode?! You would think that after after 20 years of dealing with all the sexist bullshit about why female Power Rangers can't get their own personal battlizers. Things would have been different, and we wouldn't have to worry so much about what was being given to us from the sentai and we would start doing our own things. But, no!!! Instead of just letting Sarah actually be the first female member of her team to actually wear the Lion Fire armor on-screen, all we got is the f@#$'n Super Starninger katana and nothing else. And this is just...I don't even know what word to describe this moment in the episode. Well, so much for all the high hopes that Sarah and Hayley might actually wearing the damn Lion Fire armor on-screen. Now I am never gonna female Power Rangers getting their own personal battlizers on-screen because of all this bullshit about women can't have bulky armor in Power Rangers. I don't care about how I feel from watching the rest of the episode at this point. I am more pissed off that we won't get to see Sarah and Hayley actually wear the Lion Fire armor in the show. But, instead we're gonna get that in the Boom! Studios comic books in the near-future.

Totally agree with you! It's time to make the girls got the damn Battlizers. It's fair and necessary. Maybe their focus episodes make the girls look "stronger", but that's not good enough. We need another female leader like Delphine or Jen. And obviously, their respective Battlizers.



Hasbro, Chip, take note of that!


Now, the episode...

This episode was TOTALLY ruined by Victor and Monty's fart joke. What the fuck is wrong with Saban, Chip and the writers?

Let me get this straight... Saban orders more comedy for reaching more kids. OK, I understood this. But the comedy used in Dino Charge is a lot different than that "comedy" used here. Ninja Steel use a "comedy" cheap, forced, stupid, nonsense, and ALWAYS Victor and Monty gets dirty with something: food, trash, chocolate, etc.

I feel so bad for Chris and Caleb. They are good actors, I have no doubt about that. But this damn writing makes that NOBODY give a shit the remaining episodes.

That was a Super Ninjatastic episode.

If Monty's flatulence is powerful enough to destroy the door to a classroom, the school cafeteria should NEVER serve beans.

Yeah, well. Given the fact that Brax's sentai counterpart, Mangetsu was a baffoon. I don't think it really matters at this point. But, hey. At least Brax is not the main villain of this season.
