So, "do you believe in magic?"
My answer...no! No, I don't believe in magic. I am sorry, but I am just not going to be a fan of Power Rangers Mystic Force at all. Never was a fan of this season, never have been and I never will be. But, I will say that it did have some good episodes like Petrified Xander, the Gatekeeper, Strangers Within, Inner Strength, Soul Specter and the Dark Wish trilogy. The only problem I have wish this season is that it's too damn short. They really should have let this season last for 38 episodes instead of 32 episodes at the time. That and they really should've done a better job at paying a proper respect to honor the late Machiko Soga in her memory by having Barbara Goodson voice the Mystic Mother and including a captions that says "In Memory of Machiko Soga" at the end of "Mystic Fate, Part II". No one else can voice a character that is played by the late Soga-san in this franchise than Barbara Goodson. Simple as that.

Last time we saw Rita (Countdown to Destruction part 2) she was significantly younger, being played by Carla Perez out of costume and very obviously no longer had any magic powers anymore and was just a normal woman They could have made Mystic Mother Rita’s good twin or something. The fact they couldn’t get Miss Goodson to voice her was just salt in the wound.

So much missed opportunities with this season.

They should have done more with the 10 Terrors story line but apart from that for being cut to 32 I actually liked Mystic Force after a DVD re watch recently. That was the only flaw I coould see.

Well, this is what happens when Disney decided to keep slashing the budget of the show's production at the time. *sigh!!* Thank God Hasbro is learning from the mistakes of its' predecessors, for now. By the way, I just want to remind everyone that this reunion panel just happened... Enjoy!!

I’m going to have to ask this. With the Garuda Zord shouldn’t they have changed its name to Thunderbird since the Thunderbird is more well known in the US than the Garuda?

I am just left more concerned about why this particular Sentai series wasn't skipped in favor of another Sentai series if it was that difficult for be adapted into Power Rangers back in 2006. And you thank Kami no Kaijuu's review on this show for clarifying the issue that Power Rangers Mystic Force had in its' production.

New question....Does anybody want Power Rangers Mystic Force to get either a movie adaptation or a comic book series courtesy of Boom! Studios?

Because it would have been literally impossible to skip Magiranger as Power Rangers was only a year behind Sentai at that time. Ask questions with obvious answers 2021 challenge

A few days ago, I have been rewatching a few comparison videos on various moments in Mahou Sentai Magiranger and Power Rangers Mystic Force by rangersentaiguy2. And I always did say that Mystic Force should be adapted into a either movie or a comic book series because there were a lot of problems with the way the show was being handled in terms of storytelling, tone and balancing out the characters than there was in the Sentai series it was adapting from. But after watching the comparison video of Nick vs. Koragg in "Heir Apparent, Part II" I think they should have just ended the show with Leanbow sacrificing himself and Nick and Udonna being sad that he's gone. But now, the two of them had to cope with their loss and just try to peace together with their relationship as mother and son.
Forget about the Ten Terrors arc and the final battle unless they are going to be made into direct-to-TV movie spin-off/sequels. That and the whole "Nick being the Chosen One, or Harry Potter 2.0 or Neo from the Matrix trilogy" thing is way out of hand. I understand why they did, production-wise because they were capitalizing the popularity of the Harry Potter franchise at the time. But from a narrative perspective, why does Nick Russell even care about all this responsibility of becoming "The Chosen One" being shoved down his throat even after he found out who his birth parents are? If it was predestined that he would find some answers once he arrived in Briarwood, that would be different and it would make him a more interesting character to watch. But, that's not what I have been getting upon my rewatch of Mystic Force, years ago. I only see a character that a lot of people like because he rides a motorcycle, he can form two different megazords with a unicorn and dark horse who just had an entire episode dedicated to him for no inexplicable reason at all. And he can form a battlizer with a CGI dragon. Uh....does the name, Haruto Souma/Kamen Rider Wizard ring any bells to anybody? And Souma has a much smaller arsenal and resources for his magic. So, how is this any different from Nick Russell as a protagonist and as a character?
But it's just one other person's perspective and opinion anyways. So there that.
