I hope we get a brand new everything. New head writer, new writing staff, new producers, new music composer, new ADR, new editor, new sound editor etc etc I just realize that Power Rangers has been aquired by two different companies during a anniversary. Disney during the 10th anniversary, and now Hasbro during the 25th anniversary. Disney acquired Power Rangers in 2001 so not exactly the 10th anniversary Also with Disney the purchase of Power Rangers was incidental to their purchase of Fox Family Worldwide. Far as I can tell Hasbro outright purchased Power Rangers from Saban Brands

As long as the comics and Hyperforce are left alone, this could be a very good thing. Hasbro couldn't make the show worse.

I wish Hub Network The Hub (later the Hub Network) or Discovery Family become their new home.

Okay my bad. I read the whole article and it just said 522 millions for not only Power Rangers, but other assets too, like Julius Jr, my Pet Monster, etc. Still, good money for Saban.

So do we know how this might affect Beast Morphers production? They already had writing teams and shooting schedules in place didn't they? Will they start over from scratch or just run with it?

I wish Hub Network The Hub (later the Hub Network) or Discovery Family become their new home. What about Universal Kids? Surely Hasbro & NBCUniversal has a good relationship.

I would hate to see it move again to another channel. Doesn't hasbro have some stuff with nick. As much as we hatr nick scheduling. I rather stay on a lower mid tier channel that cable and satalite folks would likely get. Then discovery channels as thry are a upper tier ch. Plus really viewers wise if we went to a upper tier ch would likely be lower. And I seriously doubt the show would ever go just streaming. Again it's more likely it will always be broadcast. Then a second home on streaming. I would also love if hasbro gets someone else to do season sets then LG has been. Personally be great if we had shout do box sets vs how LG sets been. As for changes yes I hope for some more production money and creative changes. For bm I doubt they likely would have much say in things as show already been in pre production. If anything I could see a hasbro logo in credits. Then come after bm they are full control over creative and etc... behind the scenes folks. I do hope they would keep folks like chip and a few or even get some past folks back along with any new blood down the road. Here is the thing though, if we ever want to see Power Rangers go back to the 40+ episode a season rather then it split into two 20+ separate ones, it would have to move away from Nick. And, this latest news might possibly be the reason we haven't heard any news on when Ninja Steel is going to be released on DVDs as it's possible that once they had gained control that they might look for another company to release the newer seasons.

Again I doubt they ever go straight to streaming. Streaming will likely always be a second option then the only place. I rather stick to regular TV as first run and have streaming as second home.
As for nick we know it's still going to be home through 2021 as they have the current 3 year renewal. So I doubt hasbro will break that deal. Also as I pointed out before discovery family or the universal kids channels are upper tier channels and if you think ratings are shot with nick I doubt they will be any better heck probably be worst on there. Vs nick you can get more viewers on the show.
Also with hasbro doing a lot of things with Paramount who owns nick. There is reason they may stay with nick. Plus who's to say maybe with hasbro in charge maybe they can work out a better deal with nick. But still there is many questions in how does hasbro want to run things.
Do they want to go back to the old format of 1 year with 32 to 40 episodes. Do they want to do 2 year format. Then of course where will production take place. What crew from Saban brands stay with hasbro. And then of course new hiring. I do agree with some we do need some new folks in music big one there some new writers be good too. But I wouldn't mind keeping chip for example as head ep with some new hires. Or maybe even bring back others like sloan, or jackie, or kohchi (spelling).
But again we likely will not see any bug changes for awhile. As I doubt hasbro will have much say or change for bm. But likely take over full control after bm.

Not a lawyer, but I doubt they legally can. They have full control NOW. Unless they're keeping the same people working on Power Rangers for Saban Brands we should notice any changes when Beast Morphers happens. This isn't quite like what happened with Disney where Saban Entertainment was acquired as BVS Entertainment and production continued to run "mostly" smoothly with more or less the same people working on Power Rangers until Disney stopped production in Los Angeles and moved to New Zealand to cut cost. This is Hasbro straight up purchasing the Power Rangers IP from Saban. We will more than likely have a brand new crew working on the show from the get go.. I imagine Hasbro Studios will be taking over production from this point on Although who knows most of the Saban Brand era episode directors also worked on the Disney seasons. We have to wait and see but this could potentially be a HUGE game changer.

So Saban Brands wouldn't have Power Rangers after Ninja Super Steel is over? Ok first Bandai leaves and now this. I guess Power Rangers is changing forever. And this could also mean that after this year Power Rangers won't be on Nick anymore. Beast Morphers would probably be on Discovery Family. Since the other shows that are under the Hasbro brand like My Little Pony is in season 8 and Littlest Pet Shop has a new series are on there. Which is fine since I have that channel, thank goodness.

I seriously doubt we will see big hand of hasbro in creating bm and what not. As bm was already in prep with casting and other stuff like filming going to happen and crew stuff. If anything from hasbro likely maybe a hasbro logo in end credits. And we know Saban and likely other figures of Saban brands will still be involved for the time being and what not. Again we likely won't have hasbro calling all shots and fully handling production end stuff to after bm.
Pink it won't be leaving nick after ninja steel. As nick gave a 3 year deal for franchise. So again we likely won't see show leave nick to after season 28. As why would hasbro break Saban deal with nick. Plus like I brought up hasbro works a lot with paramount who owns nick. So why rock the boat. When you have a guaranteed home for 3 years already.
Now after season 28. That is likely where a move could hapoen. Again I don't see franchise go strictly to streaming. Again streaming will likely always stay as a second run place for show. And I would figure hasbro would always want to keep Netflix deal in place too would make sense.
Now again though would you honestly want to see show moved to discovery family or universal kids as they are premium tier networks on most cable and satellite packages. And I doubt we would have any better ratings on those networks vs nick.
I rather stay with nick as more folks can see and get nick vs those networks. Hell speaking of ratings for those two networks how does new kids shows even do on them. And like I said with paramount and hasbro partners and paramount owns nick. Maybe they could swing more say in season episode count and airing then Saban did with nick.
