At Midtown Gotham, Wicz strolls around the buldings, listening to “Sharp Edges” through his earbuds. It’s only been a few minutes and already starting to feel bored. So, he decides to slip into the alley and leans against the wall next to the garbage bin. Checking his watch, the Red Ranger roll his eyes as he speaks to Dodo. “This is not what I had in mind, buddy. I’m pretty sure everyone’s looking for me by now.” After a beat of silence, he leans his head. “I’m not going back just because they miss me. Until they learn their actions affect me, I rather stay out of it.” Then he heard a door opened. Appearing from the door is a teenage boy like him, whose expression full of annoyance but not directly at him. Before Wicz has a chance to respond, the teenager sat next to him, wrapping his arms around his knees. “Ugh, first school, now my mom. Why can’t they understand?” The teenager muttered. “If it's ok for me to say.” Wicz offered politely. “People may know what’s best for each other, like friends and family. Sometimes they don't know get what others may go through without meddling.” The boy looked at the Red Ranger, surprised that someone understood him. “You’re telling me. I rather live my own life than to be latched by her.” “That’s okay. As long as you’re happy.” Wicz simply replied. The boy nodded with a smile before introducing himself. “My name’s Draven. Draven Cole.” “I’m Wicz.” The Red Ranger presented himself, pointing his lunch pail in process. “And this is my pal, Dodo.” “Wicz, eh? Cool name.” Draven stood from the ground, offering his hand to his new acquaintance, which he reciprocates. “More like a nickname. Trust me, my full name is hard to pronounce.” Wicz replied, feeling... happy for the first time since before yesterday's patrol. With that, they head off through the alley.

"Take the jet." Bruce agreed with Chris's assessment. "Based on his location, this will get you close and then you two will have to get Wicz from there." The jet primarily used for Batman's travels began to roar on Bruce's computerized command. "I'll pilot the jet from here. Now hurry!"

"Right behind ya. Might wanna morph. I think it would be weird if we encounter civilians and we are dropping from the batjet. Dino Thunder, Power Up!" Chris said as he morphed instantly and climbed into the jet.

Meanwhile back in the alleys, Wicz and Draven are conversing with one another over meaningless topics. For the Red Ranger, he felt at ease being away from his personal and professional responsibilities, and honestly he didn't miss the others. When he turns to see his new friend behind him, gazing at the sky, the Red Ranger furrows his brows in concern and went to check on him. "What is it?" Wicz asked. When there's no response, he decided to look at the sky to see what's really going on.

Soon after the remaining Rangers were secure, Bruce engaged the jet's engines while opening the hangar doors. Once the air craft was clear for take off, Bruce took firm hold of the controls attached to the console and sent the Bat Jet on his way.
Once the Rangers were gone and the hangar was closed, Bruce leaned forward in his chair and showing no emotion as he piloted the Rangers remotely.
"You know Master Bruce, given the time that has elapsed, assistance from a certain detective would surely ensure the safe return of Master Wicz and his mother."
"I'm sure it would." Bruce sighed. "But they have to learn. In order to humble them, they have to go through the struggle and growing pains that come with the job. They'll never learn if I coddle them."
"While I do see your point, Master Bruce, I can not help but wonder what happens if they fail either in part or in full."
"Alfred, if they fail, it will either fully motivate them and put them on the path to become true warriors of justice or they will crumble and it will show why I should have never taken on new kids after Tim in the first place."
Alfred was silent for a moment as he knew that the incident tied to Tim Drake and The Joker was a sore spot for him. While he knew that the trio could use a slight bit of humbling in their attitudes, he rooted for them to succeed so that Bruce could move forward on the path to healing as well.

Chris looked at the coordinates and noticed that the bat jet was approaching Wicz's location. "Alright. Bat Jet in position. Let's go get Wicz and get him back to the cave." Chris said as he pushed the button to open up the cockpit doors.

“Oh sh!t!” Both exclaimed simultaneously, one out of amazement and the other full of uncertainty, as they saw a white airplane passing by. “Naw, it couldn’t be. Could it?” Wicz shook his head, not believing that the others would look for him through a transportation. He thinks it's just an imagination, that he seen different colored planes before so it's nothing new. But his gut tells him otherwise, giving him the worst case scenario. Just thinking about it leaves Wicz into a panic mode while Draven watches. “Oh crud… Oh crud! They’re already looking for me! Oh my- GAH!”
“Uh Wicz, is that a bad thing?” Draven questioned, wondering what made his new friend freak out.
“I should’ve expected it so soon! They’ll freakin take me back and Mr. Wayne will kill me! And then mom and Susie will punish me!” Wicz rambled, feeling terrified that everything he did will be up in ruins.
“Woah, woah. Wait!” Draven barely stopped his friend from going into a full blown panic attack by gripping his shoulders. “Mr. Wayne? You mean that rich dude. You’re working for him?
“Y-Yes and n-no…,” Wicz starts, and stops, and then visibly forces himself to push on. “Yes because I work for him… as an intern.”
The Red Ranger knew he had to lie in order to keep his Ranger identity a secret, especially when they’d just met. Superhero secret identity is a mandatory thing, though he sometimes wish he could pull off a Kim Possible route. At least she could balance her double life without secrets on tv. “But no, because of my c-comp- My co-workers were bad-mouthing him so much that I’m tired of defending him from their negativity.”
Draven mulled over Wicz’s story while tilting his head. He figured he’s lying but he didn’t want to overwhelm him further. They just met a while ago so at least he could do is to gently ask one more question before making his decision. “Does he treat you bad?”
Wicz shook his head. “My boss may be strict with the yelling and what not. But at least he has better reasons to discipline me than my 1st grade substitute teacher.” He chuckled lightly. “Once you get to know him, you see he’s a good person.”
After listening to his friend’s explanation, Draven makes up his mind. Pulling out his phone, the teen went into Google Maps app and shows the coordinates to the Red Ranger. “Okay, you mention your next train stop is 20 minutes away, right?” When Wicz responded with a nod, the other teen continued speaking. “We'll go on a wild goose chase. That way it’ll be hard for them to find us and you can make it to the train station on time.”
Wicz pondered about it for a moment. Since his situation is very dicey tight now, he does need the help he could get. Not to mention Zephyr informs him that Dodo will likely be in danger because his morpher's inside. “Sure.” He agreed as he situates Dodo to the interior of his backpack. “If anything, we’ll leave the alleys. Then camouflage through the crowd until we arrived.”
“While we’re at it, we’ll go to the mini mart and ask for the mango slushie.” Draven suggested, leaving his friend confused before shrugging in acceptance. With that said the boys left the alley and blend with the crowd until they reach their destination, all while relying on Wicz’s confidants to keep an eye on Carrie, Chris, and any other villain who might be wanting the Red Ranger.

"Why do they run? Doesn't he know that we can track him using his morpher?" Chris says as he looks down at them. "Why would he run? We gotta stop him before this gets any worse." Chris says as he unbuckles and jumps down from the bat jet, aiming to make a landing in front of them. Once he lands, he uses his Tricera Shield to slam the ground to cause a slight tremor to knock the boys off of their feet. "Wicz, your mom's in danger! Stop running!" Chris bellows out.

Just as the boys began to blend in, they were stopped by the Tricera Shield, which happens to be Chris's. "Crud, they're here." Wicz scowls at this predicament as Chris appears in front of them, telling him his mother's in trouble and that he should stop. The Red Ranger closes his eyes for moment as stood on his feet, not buying the Blue Ranger's plea. "Tch. I would if I could but until you guys learn to respect your elders, no grazie." He spoke smoothly, giving his new friend a cue. Immediately Draven, who is behind him, threw a stone from the ground at Chris's knee, distracting him as the boys use the door next to them to escape.
Once inside, the boys lock the door and pushes a sofa to block the entrance before going to the rooftop using the elevator. As they go up, the boys look at each other in concern.
“So, that’s your coworker?” Draven asked, wondering why this guy with a blue suit is here for Wicz.
“He really shouldn’t have done that.” Wicz muttered in annoyance, turning to focus on Dodo via his backpack. “No, just a superhero I met a while ago. You know doing patrol work and all.” He sighed, knowing that the others are tracking him because his morpher is still on. He wishes he could turn it off but he’s afraid of messing it up.
“Like Batman? Because I never heard him before.” Draven said in confusion. He read the news about Batman until a few days ago, no activity from him.
“Yeah, like Batman.” Wicz replied, hoping that his friend will buy it. “He and this yellow superhero are new here, so that’s how I ran into them.”
Eventually the elevator stops, signaling the boys to step into the rooftop floor. They think about their next plan to get to the subway until Draven spots a mini mart he’s been looking for. Since it’s across diagonally from here, they need to do something quick before the Blue Ranger comes back with his Yellow comrade. Observing quickly, Wicz saw a rooftop vent three buildings away in front of them, and quickly signals his friend of his plan just by pointing at it.
“We have to jump for it?” Draven asked before his friend nodded. After giving it a thought, the teenager agreed. “Ok. Haven’t done this in a while.” With that said, the boy began running to the edge and leaps in to the other building. With adrenaline kicking in, Wicz jumps after him, silently grateful for Batman’s training regime. Once they’re at a new rooftop floor, the boys discover different paths to use, which satisfies them because it’s like a hide and seek maze for them. And so they ran, climbed, and leaped to another building until they reach their destination.

"Carrie, your up. He's not listening to reason. He won't listen. He's running because we don't respect Bruce's way of teaching is what I can gather." Chris said as he took to the fire escape to beat them to the roof top.

"I'm on it," Carrie said. She watched Wicz for a moment and realized exactly where he was headed. She knew a short cut through the streets so she quickly took off as Chris used the rooftops above. She had cut through an alley and across two streets when she saw him and he new friend one street over at the mini mart. Cutting through another alley she arrived just as they did. She slid to a halt in front of them. "Wicz you've got to stop," she said holding her hand out in front of her. "You're mom is in terrible danger." She hadn't know him long but hoped that he would know that she wouldn't lie to him.
