New season time!
-Recap. -"Mysterious Asteroid" was it really all that mysterious? -SLEDGE! -I see you, ToQger mecha. -Cue epic theme song with New kickass opening! -There's Ariake. -So Brody is 19 and still in school. Which makes Levi 20 still in high school. -Good to know Dane stuck around. (And wearing red. Nice touch) -EPIC -Oh god there they are. -...Victor and Monty did something nice. What's the catch? -I didn't need to see that stupid scene again. -It's probably just Mick coming back.
Break.
-Yeah, it's no surprise that it's Mick. But it's awesome that Mick's back so this is good. -DO NOT USE THE PRISM AS BAIT! -Jesus... the acting right there... "OH NO A MONSTER!" -Please don't. -FART JOKES THANK GOD THERE ARE MORE OF THEM! -Gee, it's almost like using the prism as bait was a bad idea. -She can just... revive it like that? -Ninja Super Steel sounds stupid. Super Ninja Steel sounds better, IMHO. -Odious having Ninja Steel is very interesting and a good way to use sentai footage of Kyuemon with shurikens. That is, if the rangers don't take it back in a minute.
Break.
-Why didn't Preston do that immediately? -HELL YEAH NINJA FIGHT! -Well, that didn't work in Odious' favor at all. -I don't know if I like the way they worked in "It's Morphin Time!" or not. It wasn't great. -Was the teamwork line even necessary? -Everything about Lion Fire mode kicks ass, though. -Smelephant. MY GOD. -"He's a big one" They always are... -Zord battle. -And we're back to the same thing, it seems like. -Of course their check wasn't good. -More Fart jokes. GOOD. JOY.
I like it. Good start to the season.

Eh, I kinda liked this premiere. Yeah way too many conveniences going around and of course we end on a fart joke, but I do dig the team still trying to be heroes even without their ranger powers and hey, at least we got solid confirmation Dino Charge is in it's own universe (Which stills make the Dino Charge Rangers the worst team in history for destroying their Earth and rewriting history ).

Okay, I did not expect Sledge and the crew to be in the first episode! That was an amazing first episode, in my opinion!

First I would like to speak for everyone and say, F**K VICTOR AND MONTY AND ALL OF THEIR SHENANIGANS!!!!!
Now that I got that out of the way, this was a fine episode. Good to see em back!

I'm wondering how the SabanPRclips YT got the opening up so quickly and is in HD! The episode isn't online yet, so did they record it right from the TV somehow? or are they the Saban Brands Youtube channel?

I thought this episode was actually better than expected. I'm curious what they'll do with Sledge from here. He doesn't necessarily ever have to return since he technically doesn't know the Ninja Steel Rangers even exist. So will he?
He does have that new villain (I believe from ToQger?) in his army though, which leads me to believe he will return at some point. Perhaps for the anniversary episode?

Victor and Monty did look good in those suits, but the oversized $1 Million check immediately tipped me off that were scamming everyone.

Again with Victor and Monty!!! The writers and everyone else involved have Literally turned Power Rangers into Sheet! This is so unforgivable! side note: Even the Gag Reel on the Movie release does it too unfortunately

That was a Super Ninjatastic episode. Glad to finally get the much needed confirmation that Dino (Super)Charge is within a separate universe much like RPM. So, I think now that conversation can be put to rest.

It would be a lot better if Victor and Monty never came back for the remainder of the show. Still, everything else that happened in this episode. Not bad. At least now they explained that Sledge and his crew actually survived the wormhole and now they can exist in a parallel universe outside of their own. Good!

It's the two villains who accompany Sledge onto Odius' ship. Not Sledge, Wrench, or Badonna - the other two.
I was under the impression they were from ToQger. I thought I saw that discussion around the time of the NYCC trailer.
