"Change Card, set....TENSOU!!! (Change Goseiger!!)"
So let's discuss this particular sentai series, in general.

I liked the 3 villain factions and mastermind Brajira, it was something that hadn't been done often except for Boukenger which had negatives operating simultaneously. I heard the Metal Hero series Janperson does the same thing. Goseiger's adaption, Mega Force, actually had Warstar and Toxic Mutants active at the same time then the latter were replaced by Robots.
Shame about the low ratings for Gekiranger and Goseiger, there could've been more Sentai written by Yokote.

Mega Force, actually had Warstar and Toxic Mutants active at the same time then the latter were replaced by Robots. Yeah, about that. Megaforce had no idea what the hell it was trying to do with the Warstars and the Yuuma Beasts arcs. I mean, the producers were trying to make Admiral Malkor be the main villain in the season, then it was switched to Vrak, then Malkor again and then Vrak again. It's like they don't even know who the main villain was supposed to be in that season. The Matrintis Empire was supposed to have been saved for the next season as a new villain faction. But, nope! They just HAAADD to burn through all the god-damn sentai footage of Goseiger in 20 episodes just to get to the damn space pirates theme. If they wanted to do the space pirate theme in the first place, why did they even bother adapting Goseiger at all? But that is also an issue with how terrible the leadership quality and how bad the management was back ťhen. Or Hell, why not just skip Shinkenger and adapt Goseiger separately? So what if there wouldn't be a show to promote the new toys, who cares?! Just let the toys speak for themselves. I mean, lots of other toy brands didn't need to have a TV show to promote their new products. But yeah, Goseiger did the villain faction arcs, quite well, in my opinion. It was a nice take on building up Brajira of the Messiah being the final boss villain.

I liked the format of Goseiger, having 3 factions ala Boukenger. Although I kept putting the show off around its 10th episode (do this to other sentai's and Kamen Rider shows too for some reason, Think I end up adding too much to my queue and then forgetting about it lol)
Although would've loved to see Gosei Green in full. The time we got to see his visor was his ranger key.

It was a nice take on building up Brajira of the Messiah being the final boss villain. Blame Bandai. They wanted the Goseiger Gokaiger hybrid and they basically bribed Saban to adapt Kyoryuger with promise of merchandise sales. Gokaiger having 2 episodes more than average, condensation problems were inevitable. Goseiger was no better off either with Mystic Runner and Datas getting skipped. I mean the DX Hyper Gosei Great Megazord replaced them with those hoverbike vehicles that don't appear anywhere in the show. The toy exclusive Turbo Falcon Megazord was cool though. Obviously there were a lot of hindrances to the production due to Bandai's interference but at least Tzachor tried his best to turn those lemons in to lemonade and it wasn't that bad, we still got that EPIC Legendary Battle extended edition with the Tommy crossover featuring the return of the character since 2004 and the original Green Ranger since 1994. Robo Knight and Orion were great sixth rangers.

Yeah, that "Epic" Legendary Battle....bullsh*t, bullsh*t, bullsh*t and even more bullsh*t. Seriously, what the hell were those other legendary rangers waiting for this whole time, story-wise?! The Legendary Battle?! Because they clearly didn't even give a sh*t about being actively involved in the earlier megazord fight scenes because "sentai footage". So why bother giving the Megaforce rangers all their weapons and powers if they weren't even going to fight the Armada themselves?! Plus JDF only came back for the money and that's it. Now admittedly, he was being egotistical during the production of Dino Thunder because he didn't want to leave his family behind in the U.S., while he was forced to fly all the way to New Zealand back then. But that was only because he was doing Douglas Sloan a favor. Where as in Super Megaforce?! He was only being given a miniscule paycheck just to do nothing but stand around, look all stoic and confident on-screen for one minute, and that's it. Hell, Steve Cardenas said in an interview that his martial arts dojo made more money than a one-minute cameo in Super Megaforce. And that says a lot about Saban being a cheap bastard. And yet, Super Megaforce is supposed to be "the most expensive season of Power Rangers that the company ever produced?!" *Pfft!* Get out of here!
Now unfortunately, Orion's character was sadly under-developed because obviously, Robo Knight had an actual story-arc for his character and was more fleshed-out as a sixth ranger character than him. I mean, that's the kind of problem with this whole hybrid adaptation bullsh*t. You give one sixth ranger character enough focused-episodes and a story-arc to be fully fleshed out, but at the same time. You ended up screwing over yet, another sixth ranger character by making him feel like he's less impotrant of a character, and not give him a better story-arc and any on-screen character-development.

Finished rewatching Goseiger, and...sigh! I actually kind of liked the Warstar arc and the Goseiger vs. Shinkenger movie a lot more than the rest of the episodes.
