Ex-Aid as the tv series itself was great. actually, i not only had crush on Hiiro, Poppy and Nico. i also had a crush on Taiga! don't mean i don't like him from the start. i know he fight Hiiro but they later team-up with other riders anyways, i was know for don't like Kuroto and his father, Masamune as well Ren/Lovica
for movies- i did saw Brave short film where it focus on his female assistants thank god they both are pretty. and Snipe films, too but it was little graphic i guess the driver was prototype at the time until they fix it and they are able to henshin except for Taiga's friend of course
but i skipped Ghost x Ex-Aid Movie Wars.. i know Ghost appears in Heisei Generation Final.. i might will watch it but, they have creepy new villian look like half cyborg

I just watched the Brave Survive special. Glad I waited to see Ryuki first so I could understand the references.
Anyway, here's a Brave & Snipe trailer:

The first screening of the V-Cinemas was today. Some spoilers I have seen on Twitter (not many; I haven't had a whole lot of time to read them, will take another look later. Bear in mind this is just what others have said, I can't guarantee how accurate they are): Emu's role is minor; "True Ending" is supposed to be considered the end of his story
Dan's relationship with his parents, particularly Masamune is important to the story's plot.
Saiko (the sexy female doctor) lost her father and wants to destroy the surviving Bugsters.
In Brave Vs Snipe, Taiga risks his life to become Cronus again in an attempt to save Luke Kidman (his patient, the creepy guy who likes Nico) and Saki - it seems Taiga is still infected with the game disease from the last time he became Cronus two years ago, and using the suit again could have killed him. He survives, but is not able to revive Saki permanently. He and Nico repair their friendship but she decides to go to the USA and go back to being a professional gamer.
A major theme of the story is the idea that Dan (or someone like him) is destined to keep being reborn over and over again in each era. Whenever he arrives in a time that is advanced enough to accept his genius, that genius evolves so quickly that he's left behind again and he will be driven to start another "game" and ultimately try to destroy the world.
Ultimately, Kiriya clears Dan's final game. Dan uses "the power of God" to reprogram Kiriya's Bugster, which restores Kiriya to a human body but destroys Dan

Just saw the movie, "TRUE ENDING" and, well. I thought it was okay. Not a real finale to the show, in my opinion since we already had a proper finale of Ex-Aid's story in episode 45. Still, it was okay.

It's announced that the Ex-Aid novel will be set three years after the V-Cinema trilogy - so five years after the ending of the main show, meaning Emu (and Hiiro) are now 30 years old which was Dan's age in the TV series. I wonder if that's significant, given that it seems that Dan and Emu are the focus of the story?

I watched all 3 parts of the Another Ending Trilogy and I thought it was a fitting end for the insane villain/antihero God Dan Kuroto, Kamen Rider Genm. It was the only thing in True Ending that left me unsatisfied. Kuroto's fate was open ended with him still serving community service for CR even after the threat of Gamedeus and the Bugster epidemic was over. However, this trilogy, set 2 years later, rectifies the problem. For the last time, Kuroto reclaims the title of last boss as he creates the ultimate game, God Maximum Mighty X, Level 1000000000 which is 10000000x stronger than Taddle Fantasy!
Para-DX with Poppy was pretty good. Masamune's part about regretting his son's existence was a little hypocritical considering he consciously erased people's data, not knowing they could be revived through medical advancement, compared to Kuroto who killed only due to his knowledge that their deaths weren't final. His only real accident was Jungo who was implied to have committed suicide after finding out he was infected by the Bugster virus which Kiriya takes very personally.
I think it was necessary that Hiiro didn't get Saki back since that would diminish the sacrifice he made to save Taiga. There was also a crossover with Snipe Episode Zero explaining the scene with Bang Bang Tank and the return of Doctor Maki. The destroyed Genm was one of several zombie clone Genms like those spawned by Genm X, each containing the genetic data of a Bugster virus victim. Which ultimately means Maki as well as some other victims have been successfully revived, permanently. Bang Bang Tank is a special Gasshat commissioned by Niko for Snipe. Even though the first part of the trilogy was Brave & Snipe, it was mostly Brave due to Taiga using Cronus in the climax. However, there was more Snipe in the last part.
Another victim revived in the post credits scene is Kiriya, whose original human body was restored thanks to Kuroto's invention. Emu believes that Kuroto secretly intended this all along and was a kind of good guy deep down. After Kiriya's death and revival as a Bugster, he was understandably the least trusting of Kuroto but now he has no hard feelings. Before the credits, there was the scene with Emu and Kiriya as the latter was on the verge of Game Over. It was nice to establish them as partners again since Bugster Kiriya was more independent from Emu ever since receiving his Level 0 form.
I was confused about Kuroto's death though since video game lives are supposed to be bonus lives and the last life is actually the zeroth life. However the death happens when his count reaches zero which is completely different from video games.

The Ex-Aid novel was released in Japan today, and I have it. Some plot stuff, bearing in mind my Japanese ain't great shakes: A lot of the story is about Emu's past between 8 and 24 years old (i.e. from his road accident to the beginning of the TV series) and his journey towards becoming a doctor, which is not as straightforward as it was presented in the TV series. Emu had a father who didn't support him and didn't pay attention to him, at one point they have a big confrontation. Emu's childhood was so traumatic that his being hit by a car was actually a suicide attempt, the stress from this caused Parado to appear for the first time. Parado/M then became stronger in Emu's teens because Emu was weakened by the strain of his relationship with his father. There are a lot of parallels drawn between Emu and Dan, and the father storyline is obviously included to try to make him more like Dan. The supposed difference being that Emu was able to channel this into his wish to help others as a doctor whereas Dan didn't have that. All this stuff is pretty depressing and laid on thick for the angst factor.
The present day part has a lot of "grabbing the mic" - sudden first person perspective changes between characters (Emu, Poppy, Nico, Kiriya, Hiiro all get to narrate different bits.) The Mighty Novel Gashat appears in the story, and is actually called that, and there's a storyline about a "new game" created around it, supposedly left by Dan in his "will." Most of this is a framing device for the Emu backstory so it's all very meta. Taiga visits Nico in the US and she later comes back with him. Emu has a crush on Poppy but nothing comes of it. The possibility of Saki being revived yet again is discussed, but this doesn't happen.
Luke from the Brave & Snipe movie doesn't appear which surprised me, he was ostensibly the reason Nico went to the US. Saiko Yaotome doesn't have a huge role but is around, she's still leading research into the Bugster virus
In the present day, Dan is like omnipresent and still influencing stuff, I don't quite understand this, I need to read more carefully and/or get someone with better Japanese to explain it for me lol. He "re-brands" yet again as "Kuroto II." At the end of the novel, Emu thinks that they may be able to see him again if they can ever find a cure for the virus. There's also a prologue and epilogue narrated by Dan who addresses the reader and other characters, this is typical stuff about his genius etc.
All major characters survive, ending is fairly happy though bittersweet because of the Dan element
