I just watched this movie for the first time the other day. I found it boring.

It’s still funny to me that Adam Brody plays the buff version of a character. Back in the OC days I thought he’d make a good Billy lol.

Well that sucks. I doubt we see Levi continue as him. In the new DCU. If Gunn is planning for character to be around any time soon.

Saw both it and Black Adam yesterday. Black Adam was definitely the better of the two, and I can only imagine what Fury of the Gods would have looked like if they'd combined the plots somehow. Dwayne is paying big time for getting in his own way.
The part where Billy rejects calls to enter the Justice Society would have been a better introduction to the character in the sequel than the trip to the paediatrician's office. If the Black Adam plot had been part of the movie, that would segue way'ed perfectly into introducing the society later in the film.
I also think the bridge rescue would have made for a better final scene...if only because their failure to prevent it collapsing would have made for a hilarious mid-credit scene afterwards, followed by the Savana and Mister Mind conversation.
But other than that, while I did like things like the psyche out 'dark' ending leading to the Wonder Woman gag pay-off, the film just felt like a Saturday matinee 'filler', engaging, but not ultimately necccersary
Not surprised it bombed.
