It was never going to be a reboot
Doing another origin movie a few years later would have been suicide

I was just saying even if they say followup now if things take to long to happen or they don't get cast back. They may decide to do a fresh take.

I have mixed feelings on the "reboot or sequel" thing. I'll leave it up to Hasbro to decide which one is best.

Personally I rather see hasbro clean slate and do there own thing. Then trying as I said to fix a failed attempt. Why bother to try and fix someone else's problem. When they can go and do there own thing.

Personally I rather see hasbro clean slate and do there own thing. Then trying as I said to fix a failed attempt. Why bother to try and fix someone else's problem. When they can go and do there own thing. Because there could be a chance, they like what they saw or saw potential in the story. Something they could expand or improve on. Its what they wanna do. I was just saying even if they say followup now if things take to long to happen or they don't get cast back. They may decide to do a fresh take. In other words, anything so Hasbro won't make a sequel to a movie you don't like, you'll say. I mean, its fine, its your opinion, you can hate the movie. But Hasbro said they wanna do a follow-up which doesn't mean a reboot in anyway. No matter what you say, no matter how you feel on the movie, Hasbro has decided on what they wanna do, they could change plans later on, but for now, they're interested in doing a "Follow-Up" and not a reboot. Just accept it and give it a chance, who knows. I mean, there was a lot of potential in the 2017 film and if Hasbro wants to do a "Follow-Up" they must see potential.

I am not saying hasbro couldn't salvage the LG film. But like I said sure they are saying they like to do a follow up film. All I was saying was they may say this. But they could end up changing plans. Like I said if it takes say another 2 to 4 years to happen. They may not get cast back. Or decide to go another way. All I was saying if you where hasbro. Wouldn't you want your first film with brand to be your own stamp on things. Then taking Saban and LG ideas. But who knows what will happen and if or when another film will actually materialize.

Well I hope Hasbro doesn't pull a TMNT stunt and restart the movies a 2nd time.
2017 relaunched so I would rather they continue on from that movie. Spider Man already restarted twice with the 6th movie.

April logistically you got to look at this from studio. Do they want to continue a film that didn't do well in box office from another studio. Plus then also would they be able to get all the actors back. More likely hasbro will want to do there own thing. Be it another mmpr reboot. Or a whole original thing. Or even do a film about another team like say time force or something else.

april again we have no clear clue or plan what hasbro has in store for any future power rangers movies. Again another film is still likely a good 2/3 years from happening. As it takes a long awhile to hire writers, directors, variety of crew personal. Along with selecting filming locations, filming studio space, making suits, props, etc... Stuff. Again what ever happens is more then likely going to be a totally new and original film. As cast, crew and so forth from 2017 are all off doing many other projects now. So the longer to another film happens the less likely it be a sequel to 2017 film and having cast return. Again hasbro will likely want to do there own thing then try to work off and fix the issues the 2017 film had.

Again April like I said above. I highly doubt hasbro will want to continue franchise with a continuation from 2017 even with a new cast or characters. It likely be a total new start. Or hell they could just decide to do there own totally original concept and team. Again I don't expect a direct sequel or continuation from 2017 film at this point.

I'd like to see a little more faithful adaptation--not as much as MMPR: The Movie necessarily--but more recognizable. But more importantly, more action. The Dean Israelite movie was good but only had like 20 minutes of action, and I think that's probably the main reason it dropped off so quickly at the box office.
Something I really enjoyed though, was the bits and pieces of lore everywhere. The Zeo Crystal, the alien stuff, the original team of Rangers, and Rita's connection to the green power coin.

april again at this point it is not likely hasbro will do a direct sequel from the 2017 film. As it was not a sucess. So why would they want to continue another studio blunder. When they are more then likely going to want to do there own thing. Be it another MM reboot, or just a film about another series. Or they could just go all original and make up there thing.

Zeo is a bad, bad, bad idea. It would kill off the nostalgia angle.

They do reference him in the 2017 film during class role call during the credits
