Earth. A shining marble in the universe that seemed to attract more and more attention. From space pirates like Divatox to ninja like Lothor, or even planet-based megalomaniacs like Mesogog, the Ten Terrors, or Dai Shi, the planet was never truly safe. This was never more evident when the multiverse started to collapse. While a team of six unlikely Rangers from across the Multiverse worked to stop a tyrant known as the Overseer, another Earth was getting a little surprise of its own.
Coming from deep space, the Tok’ra Empire set its sights on the wonderous blue planet, intent on destroying it for galactic conquest. The last bastion of resistance, the Empire waged a war unlike any seen before. Rangers from across the planet stood together in one final climactic showdown that would send the Empire hiding for nearly five years. Unfortunately, for the Rangers gathered on this Earth, that meant their powers were sacrificed to stop the Empire. Reduced down to normal humans, the former Rangers went back to their normal lives, none the wiser about what was coming…
Over five years later, the Empire returned. With no Rangers to defend the planet, they moved from city to city, burning them all to the ground. A few Rangers remained, gathering in the city of Eaglemere, two hundred miles from Corinth, and they got to work to create new powers, ones that could channel the energies of the Rangers that came before them. It was time to unleash the Keys and bring the Empire to its knees before the whole world was lost.

Five Years Ago:
Earth. A curious little planet that seemed to attract attention no matter what. Enemies from across the cosmos and even the planet itself had tried to take over more then once, and there were always people to stop them. Those people were the Power Rangers. A long legacy, lasting nearly thirty years, it had seen different iterations of the Power, from Dinosaurs, Ninja, Cars, and even the elements themselves, all focused on defeating whatever evil was lurking.
This time, however, things were different. The Tok'ra Empire, a group of people hellbent on controlling the universe, had come to Earth. With forces from across the galaxy at their side, the Empire made quick work of cities on Earth, leading to mass evacuations and several million casualties. Rangers from across the world banded together, putting one final push agianst the Empire to take back their home and stop the destruction.
"We have to drive them back!" Tommy yelled, slashing down Grublings with Saba and his Dragon Dagger. "We need to take out that Command Ship!"
"Derek!" Jax Ratcliffe yelled, looking at his brother-in-arms as he fired his Phoenix Bow, sending Grublings to the ground. "We'll take that job!" The five Crystal Machine Rangers took off, using their armored power-up to fly up to the ship. Fighting their way through, the six Rangers made it to the control center, taking out any enemies in their way before disabling the ship. What they didn't realize was that it had a failsafe, and once it was activated, the ship started to plummet, heading for the battle on the ground.
"Scatter!" the Red Dino Steel Ranger, Kida Frost, yelled, taking off. MICROSPEEDER rang out as she took off, other Rangers tapping into whatever abilities they could to get away from the falling ship.
Unfortunately, it wouldn't be enough. The ship crashed, taking out the Empire's forces, but also crashing onto the Rangers, wiping out over half of them. Hundreds of Rangers were killed when the ship crashed and subsequently exploded, debris covering miles of ground in any direction. The five Crystal Machines Rangers came running from the rubble, seeing the devastation around them. Amara walked forward, kneeling down and picking up a broken piece of the Dragon Dagger. "Derek...what happened?" the Pink Ranger asked.
"The Command Ship fell," Kida said, walking over as she removed her helmet, letting it hand by her side. "When it did, we tried to get away. Not all of us made it. There's forty of us on the other side of the hill. The rest...are under the rubble." She walked past the Pink Ranger, kneeling down and pulling up a Dino Steel Morpher, the Blue Soul inside falling into her hand. "We need to clear this...see who's under here. We need to get to work. The Empire won't stay gone for long."
The Rangers had won, but at a cost. Their friends and allies, new and old, had paid the price for an honest mistake, and the Empire had retreated. But, they would be back. Emperor Dhazan would make sure of it.

Three Years Ago:
Over the next two years, the rubble would be cleared out and dealt with, Rangers being found buried under tons of debris and metal. As the war started to fade into memory, Kida and Jax collaborated with another survivor, Billy Cranston, to create a robotic assistant, AXIM, that would be able to help them with a new project. Taking technology from SPD, Miranoi, Time Force, the Silver Guardians, and the Pai Zqua Academy, the three Rangers worked tirelessly to create a new power that would help in the fight against the Tok'ra if they ever decided to return.
Imbuing the new power with the abilities and powers of the fallen and retired Rangers, the three worked for three years to perfect the technology, and finding out that none of them could use what Kida dubbed the Shift System.

Present Day:
Five years after the war was over, in the city of Eaglemere, a young woman loosed another arrow, watching it spear into it's mark at the end of the range. Moserah "Moze" Garin was happy with the progress she was making, having started placing in the top three at competitions. It made her happy to make her mother angry, however, since her mother wanted her to be a world famous ballerina like she was. While Moze still did ballet and was proficient, she found her real love of archery to be the better stress relief.
Gathering her spent arrows, she tucked them into the quiver and sealed it up, slinging her bow over her back as she walked away. "See you tomorrow, Austin!" she said with a smile, waving at the owner of the range, a man in his early thirties.
"See you tomorrow, kid," Austin said with a smile, shaking his head softly. "Girl is already perfect. Why she keeps practicing is beyond me."
Moze set her stuff in the back of her car, reaching up and taking out the rubber band in her hair and shaking out the mass of blonde locks. She hopped into the drivers seat and took off for the main part of town, hoping that her favorite diner was open.
